Learn to Row: - registration deadline June 1, 2007
Youth Camp - Ages 7 - 12. This camp is a great opportunity for young ones to experience canoes, kayaks and rowing. By the end of the week long camp we paddle to a nearby uninhabited island for a snack and games.
Junior Learn to Row - Ages 13 - 18. In this camp you will have the opportunity to learn how to row in all types of boats from an 8 person boat to a one person boat. Kayaks and Canoes are also available for those interested. By the end of the week long camp you will scrimmage with some of the experience high school athletes.
Experienced Rowers: - registration deadline May 8, 2007
Recreational camp - This camp is for the rower who would like to get on the water now and again but is not able to commit to everyday. Practices are twice a week. Participants of this camp may compete in a local scrimmage if interested. Sessions 1 and 2 available.
Intermediate camp - This camp is a little more intense than the recreational camp but does not require that you travel to all the away races. Practices are five days a week. Participants of this camp may compete in a local scrimmage if interested and possibly the Philadelphia Youth Regatta (depending on overall participant interest.) This camp is only offerred for session 1.
High Performance / Competitive Camp - Participants of this camp must be able to dedicate 6 weeks of their summer to rowing. There are 10 practices per week during session 1. The goal of the first session is peak performance at the USRowing National Championships. Participants will compete in a local scrimmage as well as the Independence Day Regatta in preparation for Nationals. Participants of session 2 will practice 6 times per week in preparation for their fall racing season.

- Row 2 practices a day (8:30 am and 3:30 pm) with various optional activities from 12:00–3:00 pm (athletic & safety lectures, community service, helping young ones learn to row, etc. -- it is not required to stay between practices)
- Weekly Schedule: Rowing Mon, Tu, Thu, Fri 8:30 am-5:30 pm; Wed and Sat 8:30 am – 11:00 am (Wed and Saturday are half day only)
- No rowing July 4th
- Focus on peak performance at USRowing Club National Championships (July 18 – 21) participate in local scrimmage and Independence Day Regatta (June 29 - July 1)

Please circle the Youth Camp Week(s) or Junior Learn to Row Week(s) that you are interested in and return with a check made out to Steel City Rowing Club. Each week of camp is held from 12pm – 3pm. Camp fees and registration are due by June 1. Deposit is NONREFUNDABLE after that date. $25 late registration fee applies for all registrations and/or camp fees received after June 1, 2007.

Forms & Documents:
Everyone participating in any of the above camps must fill out a Summer Program Registration Form and Waiver.
Participants in any of the Recreational, Intermediate or High Performance / Competitive camps must also fill out the Health Form and Junior Contract.
Some discounts are available. Please fill out 2007 SCRC Summer Discount form and turn in with registration if interested.
