Hi Folks:
The Hoover race in Columbus was a great opportunity to get our first on the water race under our belt for both the experienced rowers as well as the novices. Although the weather was not the best, everyone did a super job and exceeded the coaches expectations! Congratulations to everyone. Racing is the best way to get faster other than coming regularly to practice. There are experiences that are learned at races that cannot be duplicated at practices. Great job.
Thank you to Mary Holleran and Trish and Bob Schauf for providing a super spread for everyone. The chili ( thank you Lynn Scraf! ) was perfect and hit the spot in the chilly rainy weather.
Also thank you to Sue Duncan who again provided us with the race results.
